This chocolate orange fudge crinkle biscuit is definitely not the most healthiest dessert option – but who can say no to an occasional cheat? Especially if it is a gorgeous chocolate biscuit with a hint of orange and a fudgy texture?
Amazing with a cup of coffee or tea – or why not with a glass of milk as an afternoon pick-me-up?

Ingredients:
- 60g cocoa powder
- 230g sugar
- 60ml coconut oil
- 2 large oranges (zest only)
- 2 eggs
- 180g plain flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 20g icing sugar
Instructions:
- Mix the cocoa, 200g sugar, orange zest and coconut oil together. Whisk in the eggs one at a time, until fully combined.
- Mix the flour, baking powder and a pinch of salt together in a separate bowl, then add to the cocoa mixture and mix until a soft dough is formed.
- Heat the oven to 170C fan and line a baking tray with baking parchment.
- Mix the remaining sugar and icing sugar in a separate bowl.
- Form the dough into a ball (approximately a heaped tablespoon each), then roll in the sugar to coat. Repeat with the remaining dough, then put them on the baking tray.
- Bake for 10 minutes and let the biscuits cool – they will firm up as they cool down.
Enjoy and until next time,
